My period still hasn't started.
I rang the hospital, who told me that they still want me to come in for a scan in a few days. This because either my period will start by then, which will extend the whole treatment a few days while we wait for the meds to kick in, or else because they will need to investigate why I haven't had my period.
The biggest suspicion, she said, is that I could have developed ovarian cysts, a potential side effect of the medication.
Great.
Fuck.

Let us know.
I hope it comes soon. Lord knows we wait long enough for everything else.
IF takes the fun out of everything. It kills what should be the excitement of a late period as you said in your last post. I hope it's nothing, just your body being a total pain in the ass.
Posted by: jenny at July 13, 2006 01:43 AMI hope it arrives soon and that it is just being difficult. I have followed your story and you don't need the hassle of anything else to deal with.
Posted by: My Reality at July 13, 2006 12:19 AMwell, there is another possible reason you don't have your period.... wouldn't that be a perverse kick in the pants? :)
Seriously, though, I hope it's nothing but stress and hormone freak out and that they can get you back on track quickly for the FET.
Posted by: caltechgirl at July 12, 2006 06:21 PMHOw unbelievably frustrating. Wish I had something comforting to say. I guess the only thing I can say is, it will come.
